Ethical committee
How does it work?
1
Committee receives demands from companies to use positive advertising
2
We analyze the company and look for potential refused activities based on our charter
3
The committee examines the advertising campaign to make sure that the product/service has a positive impact
4
Time to vote! A majority (>50%) is needed to accept the advertising campaign
5
If the vote reach a majority, the company can use positive advertising for its campaign.
The procedure takes place in 5 main steps to determine if an advertising campaign can get the label.
It was important to us to create an independent ethical committee to take informed and objective decisions.
The committee is made up of experts from various fields who analyze campaigns and companies. They debate in order to reach a verdict.
All of this is based on our ethical guidelines and goals of GiveActions, for maximum transparency and impact.
Who are the committee members?
In addition to the GiveActions team, experts from all sectors make up this committee. This is to ensure the most cross-sectional view possible. So there are experts from the academic sector, advertising, social economy, sustainable finance, etc.
